Caitlin Rhoades has a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Southwestern College, in Santa Fe, and she also completed a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. She is also an ordained minister.
Transpersonal counseling, working with an individual to connect to their higher self and the spiritual aspects of the human experience, serves as her primary approach. Using both psycho-spiritual and psycho-educational approaches, she helps the individual integrate the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their self. This includes recognizing patterns and belief systems that are no longer of service, personal empowerment through discovering inner resources, and facilitating one's ability to manifest joyful living. Some tools that she incorporates are guided meditation, somatic awareness, ceremony, art therapy, and intuitive guidance. Her work is centered on speaking our truth and living from our heart.
Caitlin has experience working with children, adults,
couples, groups, and families. She has experience in cognitive behavioral
therapy, art therapy, sand tray, play therapy, meditation and
visualization, and group dynamics.
She has studied and practiced different forms of energy work and healing
modalities including Quantum Lightweaving, Cord Cutting, teachings of
indigenous cultures, vision quests, intuitive guidance, chakra systems,
The Law of Attraction, nature based healing, and more.
Her background includes working with clients on personal growth issues,
family dynamics, relationship challenges, self-esteem and personal
empowerment, survivors of domestic violence, chronic health problems,
incarcerated youth, drug and alcohol recovery programs, children with
special needs and their families, and women’s groups.
